1. Agreement and contact
By purchasing the build, using the client portal, or otherwise accepting these terms, you agree to this version of the Terms of Service. If a term would affect your decision, contact us at hello@thesimpleinterface.com before paying.
2. The launch offer
The launch offer is a custom home service website build for a one-time fee of $1,000. The published scope includes:
- Custom multi-page website: A clear structure built around your company, trade, services, markets, and estimate path.
- Company-specific copy: Straightforward page copy shaped from your real story, services, and differentiators.
- Services and service areas: Dedicated content that helps visitors understand what you do and where you work.
- Projects and reviews: A credible place to present completed work, customer feedback, and the proof you provide.
- Mobile and speed tuning: A responsive experience designed for owners and homeowners browsing on a phone.
- Client portal and revisions: Upload assets, follow progress, send feedback, and approve the build in one place.
Anything not listed in the published scope or added in a written order is outside the launch offer. Domain registration, hosting, paid software, advertising spend, and other third-party charges are not included unless the checkout or a written order says they are.
3. Payment, cancellation, and refunds
Payment is collected through Stripe before work begins. This is custom work, not a free trial or a money-back offer. Once work begins, the fee is non-refundable except where law requires otherwise or we agree in writing. Before work begins, you may contact us to ask to cancel; any non-recoverable third-party cost already incurred for your project may be withheld from a refund.
4. Timing and your responsibilities
The published delivery window is 7-10 days from completed kickoff from kickoff. It depends on timely access to accurate business information, logos, photos, reviews, approvals, and other requested assets, and on the scope remaining unchanged. Client delays, new requests, third-party outages, or events outside reasonable control can move the launch date. We will communicate material timing changes.
You confirm that you have permission to provide and publish the text, images, trademarks, reviews, and other materials you submit. You are responsible for checking factual claims, licenses, service areas, contact details, and legally required business disclosures before approval.
5. Revisions, approval, and added work
Revisions within the published scope are included through launch approval. A request that materially changes the scope, requires a new integration, or adds work after approval may require a separate written quote and timeline. Approval authorizes us to publish the approved version.
6. Ownership and third-party services
You retain ownership of materials you supply. After full payment, you may use the custom website deliverables created for your business. We and our licensors retain rights in pre-existing tools, reusable systems, licensed assets, and general know-how. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms, availability, pricing, and policies.
7. No performance guarantee
We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, close rate, or any other business result. Results depend on factors outside the website build, including your market, reputation, assets, pricing, traffic sources, responsiveness, and follow-through.
8. Acceptable use and availability
Do not misuse the site or portal, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict access to protect customers, the service, or others. Online services can experience maintenance, outages, and third-party failures, so uninterrupted availability is not promised.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases or service use. The version and effective date at the top identify the text presented here. A material change does not rewrite an already accepted order unless both sides agree or applicable law requires it.
